1. Acceptance
By using this service ("the Service") you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What the Service is
The Service runs a Linux virtual machine client-side in your browser via WebAssembly, with optional outbound networking through a relay we operate. It is provided for experimentation and general use. It is not intended for production workloads, for storing important or sensitive data, or as a reliable or always-available system.
3. Your data lives in your browser
Instances and their contents are stored locally in your browser and are ephemeral. Clearing your browser data, switching devices, or a reset of the base image will erase them. We are not responsible for any loss of data you create in the VM — keep your own copies of anything you care about.
4. Acceptable use
When using networking through our relay, you must not:
- break any applicable law, or infringe others' rights;
- launch attacks, port-scanning, denial-of-service, intrusion attempts, or send spam;
- use the relay as a general-purpose proxy/VPN to disguise traffic, evade bans, or circumvent access controls;
- mine cryptocurrency, run bots, or generate abusive, excessive, or automated load;
- consume bandwidth beyond fair use (the relay is volume- and rate-limited and restricted to common ports).
You are responsible for everything done through your session. We may rate-limit, suspend, or block access — and, where networking egress is exhausted or abused, disable networking — at our discretion and without notice.
5. Availability
The Service, and networking in particular, may be slow, interrupted, rate-limited, or unavailable at any time. Networking may be paused when shared usage limits are reached. We provide no uptime guarantee.
6. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be secure, error-free, or uninterrupted.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the preceding twelve months.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms, including any activity you route through the relay.
9. Changes & termination
We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate access at any time.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Contact: [email protected].
